Maria Lalić is a textile artist and writer inspired by the legends, landscape and people of Wales. Her work has been exhibited widely and she is also a published author of two books. Unlost Places combines mixed media art and poetic prose in an ongoing project to map metaphysical features of landscape by making creative responses which reflect upon liminal places and a sense of the numinous in the natural world. Maria is an accomplished maker of cloth dolls, enjoys homespun crafts and as a member of Heritage Crafts she is currently developing her skills in a range of early medieval textile techniques.
